Fighting Back

Fighting Back: Wrestling With Cancer was not your typical wrestling event. Wait, is there a typical wrestling event? Ottawa area wrestlers and event promoters tag teamed with international wrestling stars to raise over $10,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society.

We helped out by putting together a website for the event, using a logo supplied by the event promoters as a starting point. The website features:

- the WordPress content management system
- a custom theme to match the event logo and promotional materials
- a blog to promote the event and keep fans up to date
- Facebook integration to encourage fans to interact with the promoters and other fans
- Paypal integration to allow those who wish to donate ahead of the event
